Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i - document scanner 4.5 5 78 78
Software clunky and not very user friendly I found the scanner output of high quality but the software somewhat lacking. The learning curve appears to be steep and I don't have the time to research it more. I want software that allows me to file the scans like file folders and can make back up files all in one step. Above average scanner The paper guides are too low. Paper will feed crosswise if not started exactly straight. I had expected more comprehensive software. I found that I had to buy additional software to accomplish my goals. April 21, 2013

Good scanner with some drawback. Paper feed is not the best. Paper will feed at an angle unless great care is given towatching the infeed. If paper runs at a angle, the original will be torn. Tends to feed two pages at once when multiple pages placed on infeed.when all goes well then scan is great. Be perpared to stop scanning if infeed starts to feed original at an angle. April 20, 2013

Excellent- One of the best computer "tools" that I have used. I am a packrat and had tons of files that I did not know how to handle. I now scan them, "file" them and shred them.Extrmely easy to use. I wish I had it many years ago. April 20, 2013
