Product Reviews
Cisco Small Business SG300-28P - switch - 28 ports - managed - desktop, rac 3.8 5 8 8
Worst switch ever. Steer Clear! I have numerous versions of this product line, SRW2008, SRW2008p, SRW2024, SRW2024p and they are all problematic. February 21, 2014
Not a horrible switch, used several of these. Did wall mounting of them for a major global ISP. The were serviceable. January 16, 2014
We have a few of these on our network. We use the 2024P (with PoE), and they perform very well. They are a nice balance between price and features. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, and once you get them set up, you can pretty much forget about them because they won't give you any problems. March 18, 2012
I have five of these either as the SRW or as they are now marketed by Cisco as the SF300 series routers and they seem fully capable switches. A big leap from the unmanaged switches that they replaced. Four of the five are PoE switches and thus far I have had no problems configuring these switches and of course since I now have more network viability I feel much more capable of effectively troubleshooting our network traffic as we continue to grow. As always in our case cost was the main factor that influenced us to move to this switch. April 22, 2011
Great switch, never had a problem with it, however it is noisy. Web interface is easy to navigate and use. March 15, 2010
I have an SRW2016, the SRW2024's little brother as the backbone of my server core and it works very well. It seems very easy to manage, does everything it is suposed to and does it well. And at the moment, what counts it was less than half the price of comparable managed gigabit switches.I see others think it is a little noisy, but in a rack with a bunch of servers its hard to tell who's making the noise. November 10, 2009
Very good managed switch. Very intuitive interface and good VLAN and ACL support September 9, 2009
Nice SMB switch. Tons of features and very configurable. A little noisy. October 23, 2008
