Product Reviews
Cisco Small Business RV320 - router - desktop 3 5 2 2
A SMB router that was long overdue The Cisco Small Business line has been lacking for some time in regards to their VPN routers. The RV320 finally made up for that with VPN throughput on par with Cisco's ASA 5505. As a matter of fact, with GigE on the RV320, the interfaces are actually faster than the ASA 5505, which are only 10/100.I've had this thing running for a while now with no problems. Although I haven't specifically had the issue myself, some people have reported throughput issues with the out of the box firmware. This can be resolved by upgrading the firmware to the latest version. It's best doing this before configuring anything else on the router. If you've already configured it, you will need to restore to defaults and reconfigure after updating the firmware. June 5, 2014
Would not recomend this product I've had the unit for three weeks now and to say that I'm not impressed in an understatement. I've had to reboot the unit numerous times because throughput through the router keeps slowing down until it no longer passes traffic.I tried upgrading to the 1.1.1.06 firmware that was released today in hopes that the issues would be solved but the router never came back up after the firmware upgrade.
