configured managed and supported several ASA 5510 and 5505 devices. Love them. They are great in ACL and Access management configuration. device would be the best should they include the module that resides in their iron gate. I still rate this top of my list for small businesses. I wonder if they have models with gigabit ethernet ports/ April 25, 2013
i use 5505 and 5510. both are reliable and easy to configure via ASDM. couldnt configure asdm for 64 bit though. April 25, 2013
we use this for one of our vendor VPNs and we have had no issues with this..been working solid with never rebooting it December 31, 2012

Such a great device for site-to-site VPN's with remote corporate offices. Very configurable. Easy to use even if you don't know the Cisco commands, there is the ability to configure them with ASDM interface. December 6, 2012
As per usual with Cisco, the CLI lets you do everything while the GUI is somewhat limited. The GUI does allow you to make firewall rules and so forth but for advanced stuff you will need the CLI. The unit has been rock solid and has a lot of features… which inherently can make it a bit confusing to navigate through. October 18, 2012
We use the Cisco ASA 5505 for a B to B vpn between about 11 offices and locations.Most importantly we make sure all have the security plus license on them to allow multiple VLans as we also use VOIP over our VPN.We have found the ASA's to be incredibly solid. We previously had other non cisco and some older cisco devices and are extremely pleased with the security and web interface access for this device, and the fact our Cisco contractors can work on it via command console. this is the first cisco product i've used.... simple and easy yet extremely packed with features. works excellent i've never had to reboot it since taking it over 1.5 years ago September 15, 2012
