  • and ready to use by purchasing hardware configuration services with your order. Add this service to your shopping cart
  • then add unlimited hardware components to your cart to be installed with your new server.
Eligible Products:
• Any single server and its supported hardware options.
• Any blade servers and blade enclosures
• Excludes white box/scratch build system.

Service Scope:
1) A single server and its supported hardware options will be configured to the customer’s specifications.
2) All equipment required for install will be unboxed.
3) All equipment will be thoroughly inspected for physical damage or blemishes.
4) Server will be by powered on to check for hardware compatibility and POST errors.
5) Any defective components will be replaced from CDW’s inventory.
6) Server will be configured to customers’ specific requirements.
7) Server will be restarted several times and the installed components are confirmed in BIOS and/or software level, if applicable.
8) All configurations undergo a comprehensive Quality Control process.
9) Configured server will be re-boxed for shipment.
