More efficient toner usage As always Brother has exceled in making this product even better than its predecessors. I have always enjoyed Brother products for ease of use and longevity. This unit also has a wonderfully long toner life, so that we don't have to replace cartridges as often, making it much more cost efficient in the long run. Keep up the good work. November 8, 2012
We got this printer as a replacement for a Ricoh, which was not a good choice as it ended up costing a fortune to maintain. So far, the Brother has excelled. It gives good quality color pages and is rather quick to get the first sheet out. The toner price is not too bad, as to be expected. The toner is chipless so aftermarket toner shouldnt be a problem, we have even refilled some of ours with no problems. The drum unit is really reasonable. This is a good all-around printer in my book. August 31, 2012
We've had it for a few years. It's reaching it's end of life now. It printed 100K pages so far. All I can say is it one of the best printers we've own. Easy part replacement, great management features, ethernet and wifi included, cheap toner. I will get new laser and fuser and rebuild this unit. Best printer we've invested money so far. May 10, 2012
