Convert your Apple 11” MacBook Air (see compatibility below) to a desktop in seconds. Eliminates connector wear and tear.
BookEndz Docking Stations support and fit the MacBook Pro Line of Laptops with Thunderbolt Technology. However this Docking Station is NOT compatible with any Thunderbolt peripherals or the Apple Thunderbolt display
The BookEndz Docks use a pass through cable to route the MiniDisplay port to the back of the Docking Station. If you are looking to plug in an external monitor to expand you laptop into a desktop, the MiniDisplay Port and the Apple Cinema Display work just fine with our current BookEndz Docking Stations. However, this Docking Station does not support any Thunderbolt peripherals/displays.
Compatible with the Apple aluminum 11” MacBook Air released 10/20/10 and 7/20/11.

The Docking Station replicates all of the connectors and ports from the sides of the 11" MacBook Air and routes the connectors to the back of the dock. The Docking Station allows for all of the peripheral devices normally connected to both sides of the MacBook Air, Video, USB, Audio Out, to be plugged in to the Docking station and remain plugged in, independent of the computer.
The Docking Station includes a USB powered hub that allows you to connect multiple devices at one time. It also incorporates an Ethernet connection through one of the USB ports so you can have a wired Ethernet connection. The Docking Station includes an AC adapter for the USB hub only; you must use this power supply in order to use the USB ports on the Docking Station.
NOTE: you must use your own MagSafe Power Supply to power up your MacBook Air, the dock does not supply power to the laptop.
Taking the computer from the office or home or moving it from one room to another doesn't require disconnecting and reconnection several devices.
