Similar to the existing Alcatel OmniSwitch, the OS6850 series uses the Alcatel Operating System (AOS). This ensures an easy and economical way to upgrade or deploy a new Ethernet network. Also, the OS6850 is future proof for networks with native support of IPv4 and IPv6 switching.
