Repair – Depot
• Mechanical failure coverage begins once the manufacturer warranty has expired.
• This protection plan does not replace your manufacturer’s warranty but provides certain additional benefits during the term of the manufacturer’s warranty.
1. This plan includes Power Surge Coverage- This service plan protects against operational or mechanical failure of a covered product if a failure occurs while properly connected to a surge protector approved by the Underwriter’s Laboratory. Your surge protector may be collected by the Administrator for examination.
• Hardware must come with a minimum manufacturer warranty of 12 months.
• This plan must be sold within 180 days of the hardware purchase and the hardware must be in good working condition at time of service plan sale.
• 3 way box shipment to and from Service Net/AIG Warranty’s repair facility is fully covered (we ship a box to the customer with a prepaid label and packing materials, the customer packs the box with the malfunctioning hardware and ships the unit to our facility, the product is repaired and shipped back to the customer).
• Average turnaround time on repairs is 3-5 business days (once the product reaches the depot facility) depending upon part availability.
1. Our Open Claims Management Team will monitor your claim.
• This plan has a claims limitation up to the purchase price of the product. The total amount that we will pay for repairs is what you paid for your product. If we replace your product or offer a cash settlement for the purchase price of the product (less any claims), the contract is fulfilled.
• No Lemon Policy – Experience four documented failures on the same component and receive a new replacement product.
• The plan is fully transferable (Giving it away? selling it? It’s still covered).
• Our programs are supported by a network of 30,000 technicians nationwide.
• Customer Support is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 364 days per year.
